Question of the Day: What are your favorite literary YAs?

I'm interested in knowing what are, among my blog readers, the favorite LITERARY young adult novels (literary meaning character-driven, of course--and particularly contemporary versus classic, though either works).

I want to do another essay/study, like I did with book covers.
